Canciones Modales is a trio for harp, violoncello and double bass inspired by a romantic story happened among two lovers who lived in the Middle Ages. Through nine songs or movements and developed by music elements from neomodal aesthetic, this composition presents moments of tenderness, passion, sadness, joy, etc. It highlights the simplicity of the melodic lines as well as the harmonic exposition; natural music shining next to a sun born in the Middle Ages.
