Mandatory Piece by VIII Regional Wind Band Contest "City of Cartagena", 2019.

II. Bachata
III. Chachachá
Suite Latina, Op.52 begins with an enthusiastic and joyful “salsa” movement divided into three parts.
Then, a romantic “bachata” appears for evoking the feeling of love. At this time, harmony deepens to enhance the expression of feelings.
Finally, a rhythmic “cha-cha-chá” will close this concert band composition paying tribute to Latin music and its origins.
It is worth highlighting the use of Latin percussion as well as the development of rhythmic and melodic elements throughout the suite.
