The composition "Fantasía, Op.14" by Javier Pérez Garrido will be performed as a mandatory work during the First Section of the National Band Music Competition "Ciudad de Murcia". This prestigious event, open to every Spanish amateur bands, will be having its 20th edition this year.
The participants will be the concert bands Sociedad Unión Musical "Santa Cecilia" de Caudete conducted by J. A. Colom, Unió Musical "Ciutat d´Asís" de Alicante conducted by J. E. Canet and Sociedad de Arte Musical "La Filarmónica" de Callosa de Segura conducted by G. García.
The bands taking part during this first category will receive three economic prizes (15.000 euros). The place for this competition will be the Auditorio y Centro de Congresos “Victor Villegas” from Murcia and the date, December 5th, 6:00 p.m.
