The composer, conductor and clarinetist Javier Pérez Garrido has just been nominated to the prestigious Hollywood Music in Media Awards that will be held on the Fonda Theatre, Hollywood, Los Angeles at the end of 2014.
Pérez Garrido is nominee at the Orchestral/Instrumental Composition category and has been selected thanks to his composition "Fanfarria, Op.50", commissioned by Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Alicante, Spain, for celebrating their first centennial and internationally renowned thanks to the cd recording and scores published by Molenaar, The Netherlands.
Javier consider that being nominee is an incredible award due to the reason that these prizes are really important all over the world.
