Homenaje al Maestro Álvarez Alonso consists of a short introduction that leads to appear a musical theme repeated with a counterpoint. By passing through various musical keys we reach the final trio that ends the composition in a joyful way.
Note the appearance of small fragments, sometimes in irregular phrases, and a multitude of overlapping rhythmic elements reminiscent from the composition by maestro Antonio Álvarez Alonso "Suspiros de España".
